Organising Pam and Sajjad’s wedding, I felt like I was an old friend, rather than their wedding planner. After hearing the story of how they fell in love next to a cup of coffee, I will never walk into a Starbucks the same way again.
Being a truly international couple – Mexican bride and German groom with Indian roots – their guests arrived from every point of the compass. Living in Mexico City, they chose Budapest to be the place for their intimate wedding celebrations. After promising love and loyalty to one another on the iconic terrace of the Fisherman’s Bastion, the night continued in the Vajdahunyad Castle’s Cloister to authentic Mexican tunes until the first lights of the rising sun.
Watching from the background the 80+ Granddad dancing salsa like no-one I have ever seen before and the genuine happiness on all of their faces I thought, this is what loving life looks like.
