Hannah and Bassel had been organising their wedding for 14 months. Both of them are extremely perfectionist and they wanted the best of everything therefore they started to look for the creme de la creme vendors well in advance. The journey we took together was extraordinarily tough with sleepless nights and stressful days but the result was beyond expectation. From New York it was difficult for them to imagine how the entire wedding was going to come together and how different the local market was to the American one.
We, at Budapest Wedding totally understand that it could be extremely challenging to hire a person and fully rely on who takes control of your most important day(s) when it comes to destination wedding. But we all believed we managed to overcome all difficulties and Hannah’s dream came true just the way she had envisioned. And they both happily lived ever after…
On day one a 4 hour long sightseeing trip was organised during the day while an amazing rehearsal dinner was thrown with Hungarian folk show at the most precious building, in the Ethnography Museum. On day two they promised to be faithful to each other till death do them apart in the Matthias Church.
The wedding reception took place at the Buda Castle World Heritage Site, so called Savoy Terrace that lies on 4000 square meter. When all the 140 guests arrived at the venue they were amazed by the beauty of the city, the sight, the lights and the entire design that we were working on so hard. An exceptional cocktail was especially designed for them, called the Pretty in Pink which was a another cherry on top.
Entertainment included Arabic and French songs, fantastic performance of an acoustic duo with some cover songs, saxophone, conga player and a DJ all night long kept the vibe throughout the hot summer night.
On day three a wonderful brunch on one of the top boats was taking the guests along the Danube with more live entertainment and even more food. And the conclusion of the 3 day outstanding wedding? They would pick Budapest Wedding all over and over and over again.
